Dr. Mariana Bozesan interviews:
Prof. Dr. Dr. Stefan Brunnhuber, Club of Rome, World Academy of Art and Science

Dear friends,

in this invigorating videocast, Prof. Stefan Brunnhuber is discussing the asymmetric shocks that humanity is collectively facing for the first time during peaceful times. If we want to address the weaknesses of current financial and economic systems, we must address not only the weaknesses of current monetary monocultures but also the tension between the efficiency and resilience of our financial systems with the goal to bring these key variables back into balance. One way to do that is to decouple global value chain creation and their supply chains, re-create regional sufficiency and resilience, and consider introducing a new role for our monetary regulators.
