We proudly announce the election of Mariana Bozesan to the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS). The election to the WAAS is considered one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a scientist. “I am extremely pleased to inform you that you have been elected as Fellow to the World Academy of Art & Science and to extend a warm welcome…The broad aims of WAAS are to contribute to the progress of global civilization, human welfare, the enhancement of world order, peace, the sustainable development of the planet and the realization of human dignity through transnational studies, operational projects, appraisals and recommendations made in an objective manner and from a global point of view; and to function as a transnational forum for interdisciplinary discussion of art and science and the social consequences and policy implications of knowledge” wrote Prof. Dr. Heitor Gurgulino de Souza, President of WAAS, in his welcome letter to Mariana.
