Beijing, 9-11 November 2011. Dr. Mariana Bozesan, AQAL’s co-founder and member of the supervisory board, attended the “International Forum on Women and Sustainable Development Goals”, organized by the All-China Women’s Federation.

The forum attracted 300 representatives from 45 countries and regions, UN agencies, and international organizations. Representatives discussed at the three-day forum from a gender perspective the progress achieved and challenges that remain in sustainable development, review and exchange ideas and experiences with regards to women’s contributions to sustainable development, and raise suggestions on reflecting the voice and needs of women at the 2012 UN conference on sustainable development.
